Michael A. Gruttadauria, DC, DACAN

Dr. Michael Gruttadauria is a graduate of NY Chiropractic College and is one of only 600 Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologists in the world. He graduated in 1988 and has spent the better part of his career working in the fields of Functional Neurology and Functional Diagnostic Medicine.

Best known for his application of this work to patients with Autism, Dr. Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all patients he sees. He is currently working toward Board Certification in Neurochemistry through the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies. Dr. Mike has been part of Charles Gant, Md, PhD’s Master Clinician Training Program since its inception as well as a student of both the Functional Medicine University and FMTown Training Programs. Dr. Mike is a Defeat Autism Now! Clinician and an affiliated doctor with Generation Rescue (http://www.generationrescue.org) and has been included in Jenny McCarthy’s books on Autism. Dr. Mike is on the Advisory Board of the Academy of Functional Medicine as well.

In response to an alarming epidemic of chronic illnesses across the United States, Dr. Mike has been working on coaching and consulting with doctors of many disciplines to assist them in their journey of learning functional medicine. He has lectured extensively on the biochemical and neurological basis of chronic diseases, including Autism, to professional organizations, doctor’s groups and medical residents.

Dr. Mike has created a protocol called Neuro-Enhancement Therapy™, which combines sensory and multi sensory integration with functional medicine interventions in the treatment of patients with chronic neurological disorders.

Dr. Mike maintains private practices in Manhattan and on Long Island. He is the author of a book called Beat Autism Now! (www.beatautismnow.com), as well as many articles on autism. His work has been highlighted on television news stories, as well as on the radio and Internet to worldwide audiences.

Steven Geanopulos, DC, DACNB

Dr. Steven Geanopulos is honored to be the husband to Maria Geanopulos and the proud father of three wonderful children, Zoe, George and Paige. Dr. Geanopulos is born and raised in Queens NY. He received his bachelors degree in human anatomy and doctor of chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas Texas. He has attained his post graduate education in neurology and was awarded Diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, a distinction shared by fewer than 600 doctors worldwide. He is currently enrolled in a postdoctoral course in neurochemistry at Life University through the Carrick Institue.

Dr. Geanopulos has extensive experience presenting the latest information on health, wellness, nutrition, functional medicine and the nervous system to various groups, organizations and academic institutions. He participated in a successful multidisciplinary effort to apply principles of neuroscience for the care of children and adults suffering from various developmental disorders such as autism and ADHD.

In addition to post graduate work in neurology Dr. Geanopulos has pursued an education in Functional Medicine (applying a unique understanding of blood chemistry, immunology, endocrinology, brain chemistry, and GI function). This unique set of skills gives Dr. Geanopulos the insight he needs to remove dysfunction in your system so you may reach your potential for healing and health.

For the past 12 years Dr. Geanopulos has been in private practice in upper west side of Manhattan providing care to the wonderful community of Washington Heights. Dr. Geanopulos has teamed up with a colleague, Dr. Michael Gruttadauria to open this office in midtown Manhattan.

They have created a center devoted to providing care for those suffering from Autism spectrum disorders, adult brain based disorders, and chronic gastrointestinal disorders. Future Docs represents an affiliated network of specialists who share and appreciate the natural approach to health restoration, specializing in providing care for the sickest among us. Dr. Geanopulos is dedicated to providing care and education to the public, the chiropractic profession and the medical community.
